About MDSAP

MDSAP allows a single quality management system (QMS) audit of a medical device manufacturer, with results recognised by several regulatory authorities. It became fully operational in March 2016 after a pilot.

Users needed exact document codes to find procedures, forms, and guidelines. The program also lacked a unified visual identity, with inconsistencies across documents, certificates, and promotional materials.

The solution

We started with discovery and stakeholder engagement to understand the needs of regulators, auditors, and manufacturers. We then designed and built a solution that addressed both the functional and visual challenges.

Branding design

We created a consistent brand identity, including a new logo, brand guidelines, document templates, and presentation slide decks.

Information architecture

We planned the information architecture (IA) so that navigation is intuitive and users can find relevant content quickly.

Site design

The design system uses flexible, reusable components, so MDSAP can add pages and sections efficiently while staying consistent.

Document library

The centrepiece is a searchable document library. Users browse or filter by category, process, or document type, and each document page lists all related documents in the same process.
